The WildFox addons for Firefox enable one to use HTML 5 video & audio with browser plugins.

WildFox Video

This add-on rewrites any HTML 5 <video> tags into <embed> tags so that a browser plugin can use the video resource instead of just the browser.

Features:

• Change any HTML 5 <video> tag into an <embed> tag.
• Handles dynamically added tags.

Limitations:

• No compatibility with Media Source Extensions (MSE) unless plugin supports it.
• Unable to change video resolutions on sites like YouTube: pick the right default format.
